CONNIE HENRY, WHNP
Connie Henry is a Master's prepared Women's Health Nurse Practitioner. She received her nursing degree at Presbyterian-University Hospital School of Nursing in Pittsburgh, PA in 1966. In the ensuing years she worked in Labor and Delivery, postpartum, taught childbirth education classes and has been a Head Nurse. She completed her education at Marymount University with a BSN and at Virginia Commonwealth University/Medical College of Virginia with a Master's Degree in 1992.
Connie's experience as a nurse practitioner has been in private practice, a military well-woman's clinic and a health department OB clinic. Her interests are first exams and adolescent patients, menopause counseling, and first trimester obstetric education. Connie is a member of the Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nursing , Sigma Theta Tau, Virginia Nurses Association, and the Virginia Council of Nurse Practitioners. She is presently co-chair of the Legislative Committee and a member of the board of the Northern Virginia Council of Nurse Practitioners.
She is married and enjoys walking, yoga, civil war history, community activities and anything related to her granddaughter.
