Dr. Sarita Gopal

Sarita Gopal received her Medical Degree at the Medical College of Pennsylvania in 1988. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology there in 1992. She has been with Greenbriar Ob/Gyn since then. She loves the care of women in all of its phases, from adolescence through pregnancy to menopause, because each phase is such a special time in each of our lives. Sarita feels she can help with normal transitions and even more so when things don’t go as planned. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Sarita is a member of the Medical Executive Leadership at Inova Fair Oaks Hospital. She served as Chairman of the Department of Ob/Gyn, Chairman of the Quality Management Council, President of the Medical Staff and Director of Women's Services. She was born and raised in Pittsburgh and is an avid fan of all their award winning teams. She has two grown children and loves to travel - with friends and family or solo! She is currently taking violin lessons but has decided to continue as a physician to avoid being a starving artist. Her next goal is to get a private pilot license.

Dr. Jessica Jabola

Dr. Jabola joined Greenbriar OB/GYN in 2016. She received her undergraduate degree at Andrews University in Berrien Springs, Michigan and her medical degree at Loma Linda University, California. She then moved to Reading, Pennsylvania where she completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She loves caring for woman during every part of their lives from adolescence to menopause and of course throughout pregnancy. Whether a woman is having their very first exam, a happy birth or a complicated surgery, Dr. Jabola desires to individualize the care for each and every person. Dr. Jabola is a strong advocate for minimally invasive surgery. She is trained in both laparoscopic approaches and Di Vinci robotic surgeries. When she is not working, she enjoys discovering the beauty of Northern Virginia with her husband, Andrew, baking and spending time with her church family. Dr. Jabola is a board certified fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopy.

Dr. Marvin Uthaman

Marvin Uthaman joins Capital Women’s Care after completion of his residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Mercer University in 2022. He received his medical degree from University of Medicine & Health Sciences and is proud to be a Blue Hen, completing his undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Delaware. He has a passion for preventative care and minimally invasive surgery. During his training, he completed training in Integrative Medicine from The University of Arizona. He was awarded recognition from American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, The Society of Laparoscopic and Robotic Surgeons, and The Society of Gynecologic Oncology. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his Catahoula Leopard Dog, “Braxton,” as well as with his family and friends. He also enjoys traveling, trying new cuisines, and spending time by the ocean. He is excited to join Capital Women’s Care and to experience all that Virginia has to offer.

Amanda McClay, C.N.M.

Amanda earned her undergraduate degree in nursing from Towson University and worked as an RN for several years before deciding to pursue a career focused on women's health. She received her Master of Science in Nursing from Georgetown University with a concentration in women' s health and midwifery. She enjoys caring for women in all phases of life from adolescence to pregnancy and menopause. Amanda believes in treating the whole person, both mind and body, and partnering with women to develop a personalized plan of care. Outside of the office, she is an avid sports fan, loves being active and spending time with her husband and two boys. Amanda is a member of the American College of Nurse-Midwives, the National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women's Health, and the International Pelvic Pain Society.

Melissa Rogina, C.N.M

Meet Melissa Rogina, Certified Nurse Midwife. At Capital Women's Care Fairfax - Melissa a Certified Nurse Midwife / Nurse Practitioner provides both gynecologic and obstetrical care for women of all ages. She especially enjoys working with teens and young adults, helping them navigate their gynecologic health care needs. Melissa grew up in Pennsylvania where her passion for women's health was inspired by her father, a retired OB/GYN physician. She received her undergraduate degree from Penn State University. After working for several years as a registered nurse in home health and labor and delivery, she returned to school for a graduate degree. Melissa attended Georgetown University earning her masters in nursing as a nurse midwife/ women's health nurse practitioner. Melissa has worked in private practice in the northern virginia area for the past 6 years, currently providing in hospital births for women at Inova Fair Oaks hospital. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, scuba diving and traveling, spending time with her family and with her dog Mia.
